Since 1989, Swedish metal band Dark Tranquility have been on a upward climb towards reaching global success after the humble release of their demo cassette tape in their native town of Gothenburg (seriously, what an appropriately metal name for a town). Rather than fade away, this group have shown longevity despite multiple line up changes, and helped bring the Swedish metal scene to prominence . Now their sound is commonly considered to be in the melodic death metal genre, yet the guys have been feeding off new forms of inspiration to bring every subsequent album to the next level. As they continue to travel through six continents for their World Construct Tour, they make their way to the Grove of Anaheim for their only Southern California engagement.
