MIss Brea Pageant

Nothing shows off true etiquette and poise like strutting in high heels and a bikini, belting “Somewhere Over the Rainbow,” and answering questions about how you would change the world if you were crowned Miss Brea. Taking place at the city’s Improv, the Miss Brea and Princess Brea 2009 pageant isn’t meant for laughs—or a two-drink minimum. Its purpose is to highlight Brea’s best and brightest as they work to advance their educational careers. Sure, this scholarship opportunity might not be for everyone (read: not for the overly clumsy, unattractive or non-Brea-dwelling) but anything that helps young ladies to believe in themselves enough to publicly showcase their talents while being judged by a panel of local businessmen and -women is worth taking a look at. You never know: You might catch a glimpse of a future Republican nominee for the United States vice presidential seat.
