Rock n’ roll, indie pop, and good humour just about sum up the music of singer-songwriter Andrew Corradini, whose tunes are never without moments of uplifting reassurance. “Be Kind,” for instance, never leaves the listener feeling like Corradini picked her up and dropped her off at some destitute dump. Instead, Corradini is always there with her, never failing to finish the melodic phrases he starts and insert warm vocals in all the right places. The same goes with the rest of his songs, where melodies are as concise and succinct as the hooks of the world’s greatest novels, leading listeners into happy spaces created by note combinations courtesy of Corradini’s excellent songwriting talent.
