In most other venues, you have either comics performing stand-up or bands playing tunes, but for one night you can have it both ways in the same place. “Stop Crying— A Comedy Music Show?” brings a full lineup of musicians and comedians sharing the Continental Room stage for what no one can call a dull night. Punk groups like MELTED, Mechachief, Sister Crowley and Grape Room N the Lentils will be there, and underground comedians like Steve Hernandez, the self-titled “Luis Guzman of stand-up comedy,” Brian Blank, Rachel Legault, and more. Presented by Burger Records and Dirty Laundry TV, the night promises plenty of stiff drinks, rock n' roll mayhem and fun, and the only tears you'll be shedding will be tears of laughter.
