If you’re a believer that a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down, take a moment and consider heading to the La Mirada Theater of the Performing Arts. The musical Mary Poppins will grace the stage of the award winning theater through June, bringing the treasured tale of a magical nanny and her singing, dancing chimney sweep to life. The timeless Disney classic has been endearing families for generations and this rendition will feature new songs and additional music by George Stiles and Anthony Drewe, along with beloved favorites including “Chim Chim Chim-a-ree” and “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.” Don't be too embarrassed to mouth the words of your favorite Poppins numbers, you most certainly won't be alone.
