Where Ends Meet: A Retrospective of Works by Nancy Ravenhall Johnson

Let's give it up for longtime Bowers Museum artist Nancy Ravenhall Johnson— from 1987 to 2012, Johnson bounced from one new position to another, going from gallery store manager to graphic designer to Vice President of Public Relations to Director of Creative Design. In her 25-year career, however, her own art has never been brought to light in any gallery or art institution until now. 'Where Ends Meet' displays Johnson's personal art that combines her interests in fiberglass, design, folklore, and sculpture, undoubtedly inspired by some of Bowers' own cultural artifact exhibits during her time there. But as they say, it's not the years, it's the mileage, and it looks like Johnson's got a new journey ahead of her in her art career.
