Over the past few years, Norwegian producer Cashmere Cat has become highly sought after. Born Magnus Hoiberg, he burst onto the dance scene in 2012 following the release of his EP Mirror Maru along with remixes of the likes of Lana Del Rey, 2 Chainz and Jeremih. Before he adopted the Cashmere Cat moniker, Holberg represented his country in the 2006 DMC World DJ Championships as DJ Final. Moving to New York City at the behest of the legendary Benny Blanco, Cashmere Cat has worked with the likes of Miguel and Wiz Khalifa in addition to opening for Ariana Grande. Most notably, he has a track slated to be released on the upcoming Kanye West album, showing that the 27-year-old Norwegian’s success shows no signs of slowing down.
