Dayseeker

The emo age prevalent in the early 2000s may have passed, but that doesn’t mean we have to stop listening to it. For those who appreciate the art of translating emotion (particularly anger) into sound, San-Diego-originated post-hardcore band Dayseeker won’t fail you. With their screamo-style vocals and fast-paced, guitar-heavy instrumentation, it’s impossible not to feel the intense emotional outpouring in their debut full-length album What It Means to Defeated, which was released in 2013. Certainly, their show at The Slidebar Rock-N-Roll Kitchen will get you feeling a rush of passion, rage, and contentment – all at once.
