In line with its vision to support artistic diversity and public interaction within the arts, Marcas Contemporary & Trekell Fine Art Supplies, invite ten artists in different disciplines to paint in front of a public audience while fielding questions about themselves as artists and their work methods further enriching the art experience and motivating public awareness. Each event will feature 5 artists in the front room and a single artist demonstrating the technique of ‘alla prima’ in the backroom while using a model as their subject matter. These events strip down the walls of the private artist studio and bring the public up close and personal to a moment that is commonly only experienced via the Internet or social media. The partnership between Marcas Contemporary & Trekell Fine Art Supplies is based on their similar humble beginnings and desire to provide quality experiences to artists and the public.
