A husband will be in Orange Wednesday evening to read about people living on the fringe in Tucson, Arizona, while his wife shows you proof of the same.
In other words, author Brian Jabas Smith reads from his new book Tucson Salvage: Tales From La Frontera, and Maggie Rawling Smith screens her new film Tucson Salvage: The Documentary, which she also co-wrote with her husband.
Brian Jabas Smith was the music editor at Tucson Weekly, where he pioneered the Know Your Product column. He later wrote Tucson Salvage, a column about the Arizona city’s colorful characters. His new book (Eyewear Press, UK) is a collection from the last three years of the column.
