Whirling Dervishes, Anatolian architectural recreations, art, music and, of course, food. And wait…a big Orange balloon? Yes, this year's Anatolian Cultures & Food Festival, being held May 6th-9th, will move from the Orange County Fairgrounds to the Orange County Great Park. I know for sure that the owner of Doner G, Yalcin Alsan, will be there, serving his doner kebab and my favorite, adana kebab. How do I know? He e-mailed me about it and when you eat at his restaurant, you can't miss the booklets he's placed on every table to commemorate and hype up the event.
Tickets are $12 for general admission, less for kids and seniors. Check out http://www.anatolianfestival.org/ for more info.
