Bands that find time to sample Charles Bukowski quotes and R2D2's signature squawk tend to find the fast track to our hearts. But Fullerton band Porkchops and Applesauce is so much more than a purveyor of camptastic kitsch. Sporting a lo-fi punk sound accompanied by lyrics touting the superiority of the beer in Laughlin, this is a novel band that serves up a healthy helping of humor blended with bizzaro art sensibilities.
