Cops: OC White Power Gang “Disrupted” in Undercover Sting

After calling members of Public Enemy Number One Death Squad (PEN1) “haters and cowards,” federal agent John A. Torres bragged today that government authorities had successfully infiltrated and disrupted Orange County’s most notorious white supremacist gang.

“Their reign of terror over us is over,” said Torres, a special agent with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), during a Santa Ana press conference that hailed what District Attorney Tony Rackauckas called “the largest sweep” of white-power gangsters ever.

The multi-agency undercover plan–dubbed “Operation Stormfront”–resulted in the arrests of 34 alleged hoodlums (including a powerful gang “shot-caller” inside the OC Jail) on charges such as extortion, conspiracy, parole violations, solicitation of murder and murder. Agents also captured 27 illegal firearms, including one used in an attempted homicide as well as bulletproof vests and a police helmet.

”We will never accept that gangs are here to stay and we will never give up the battle,” Rackauckas told reporters after acknowledging task force participation by the Orange County Sheriff’s Department, U.S. Secret Service, Santa Ana police, California Department of Corrections, ATF, the U.S. Attorney’s office and, white supremacists’ favorite charitable organization, the Anti-Defamation League.
Sheriff Sandra Hutchens said, “Some very, very, very serious bad guys have been taken off the streets for a long time, if not for life.”
The case centers on accused bandit Wayne Jason Marshall, who is incarcerated, and his wife, Ruthie “Mama Bear” Marshall, and their efforts to control criminal street gang activity using three-way telephone calls from the jail.
According to police, the couple attempted this year to enforce discipline on another hoodlum, Jeremy Ball, by twice luring him to sleazy local motels and having him beaten, pistol-whipped and extorted.

And, as usual, anything involving PEN1 can’t help but delve into the ridiculous. The white supremacist gangsters, who worship Adolf Hitler and despise racial minorities, allowedJose Luis Gonzales, who I’m guessing ain’t white, to join in the fun of beating Ball during the first motel attack. Oh well, if you look at the ugly mug shots of the arrested PEN1 members you see the gang’s white power standards were already comical.
Others arrested include: Jeffrey Michael Peek, Alexander Manfred Lind, Jessie Raffensberger, Richard Michael Briggs, Andrew Casper, Edward Anthony Ferraro, Richard Alan Rainey, Thomas James Symington, Douglas Kenneth Adams, Jason Odelle Fanelli and Ryan Dennis Sloan.
The defendants face up to life in prison if convicted.

PEN1 is a Costa Mesa/Huntington Beach-born gang affiliated to the Aryan Brotherhood prison outfit. It’s members are often considered extremely dangerous because of their addictions to methamphetamine, heroin and alcohol.
Final tidbit: Police and prosecutors say Orange County is home to the largest concentration of white power hoodlums in the nation (and that’s not counting OC Republican Central Committee members).
