A reporter calls a Republican presidential campaign this afternoon hoping to speak to the candidate, but is given an excuse:
The candidate is working out at the gym.
Yeah, right.
Think: Newt Gingrich or Herman Cain.
But, bless their sweet souls, the Fred Karger for President campaign, specifically the ever trusty, lean and tender Kevin Miniter, is telling the truth.
Karger–the Laguna Beach-resident, longtime Ronald Reagan campaign adviser, anti-discrimination activist, Mitt Romney antagonist, actor, model and first openly gay presidential candidate in the two major political parties in U.S. history–actually works out.
]
(He may also be the nicest person to ever run for president.)
Okay, okay, I'm rambling–but I'm being honest.
The reason for this post is that Karger, who recently beat Ron Paul in
Puerto Rico, is scheduled to conduct his first precinct walk in Laguna
Beach for the upcoming California presidential primary tomorrow
beginning at 11 a.m.
Go HERE for more details about the walk.
Or, go HERE for my 2011 cover story about Karger.
