Belgian Classics

Belgians do three things well: chocolate, beer and lace. Indeed—Belgians are the OGs of fine beer. Even their monks brew some of the world's finest to this day. Other countries have created an homage to the lauded beers of Belgium, such as the Allagash Brewery of Maine, who takes their Trippel ale and ages it in bourbon barrels, or the Unibroue brewery of Quebec who makes La Fin Du Monde, oft-cited as one of the best beers in the world. But don't tell Adele that—she recently blasted North American beer in her tour rider by demanding the highest quality European lagers in her bus after shows and reminded us oafish Yanks that, “North American beer is NOT acceptable.”
More for us, honey, as we sit back and enjoy tastings of the best beers of Belgium and varieties they inspired elsewhere at Total Wine's upcoming beer class. And the best part (besides drinking)? Discounts on all the beers tasted! Santé!
