A former public relations and marketing executive with porn star site Digital Underground took her own life Sunday via a gunshot wound to the head, the Orange County Coroner has confirmed. That means Orange County mom Jennifer Larsen, who once worked as a talent coordinator for Hustler founder Larry Flynt's LFP Inc., committed suicide on Mother's Day.

“Being a parent myself, I'm just shocked that she would do something like that because these kids are going to be scarred for the rest of their lives,” James Bartholet, Larsen's friend and colleague, reportedly told XBIZ newswire. “You know, Mother's Day comes up and it's going to be like 'this is when my mother died.'”
Bartholet is also quoted saying Larsen showed no outward signs of depression and had talked about future plans.
She graduated from Pacifica High School in Garden Grove in 1995, later attended Long Beach City College and got her degree from Ashford University in Iowa. She had left Digital Playground for a job with the U.S. Army National Guard, XBIZ reports.
