So, apparently this Sunday, Aug. 24 is national waffle day. Woo.
For those of you who get excited about that sort of thing, there's a little waffle shop in Lake Forest called Wafflette Café that's doing a buy-one-get-one-free promo for its waffle sandwiches both Saturday AND Sunday.

In addition to the waffle sammiches sandwiches, they'll also be giving away free samples of their new snow.
And if you visit this weekend, you can enter a raffle for a free iPad Mini.
That's a pretty involved promo, especially for an invented celebration day.
