Avast, me hearties! September 19 is upon us again, bringing the joy that is Talk Like a Pirate Day to de masses. In honor of this scallywag tradition, pirate-related revelry will walk the plank all the way to Shoreline Village in Long Beach, where pirate tongue will be spoken by landlubbers and sea farers alike! Grog, pillage and shiver ye timbers durin’ this two-day celebration featuring such free swashbucklin’ enterprises as sword fightin’, cuttin’ a rug to Pirate Bands, Treasure Hunts, Bullwhip Tricks, Costume Contests, Fire Belly-dancers, and more! Spend the day in grog-induced merriment or find yerself marooned at the helm of Davey Jones’ Locker. Yarr!
