SHOW ME HOW
The unofficial kickoff is the fourth annual Fest of Ales, taking place on Center Street Promenade this Saturday, September 19, from noon to 4 p.m. There'll be 35 breweries taking part, mostly from Orange County, but with a little help from our neighbors: Ballast Point, Ninkasi, Strand, etc. There'll also be food from Anaheim-area restaurants, including Out of the Park Pizza and the Jägerhaus.
Tickets are $70 in advance and $80 at the gate, which includes unlimited beer tastes (up till they cut you off, you lush), unlimited food, and entertainment. They're available at festofales.com, but if you're looking to score $10 off your admission, bring money to the booth at the Downtown Anaheim Farmers Market on Thursday from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Designated drivers (food only) are $40.
