There was news that the U.N. suggested that insects are one way to solve world hunger problems (mmm, chapulines!). They're a good source of protein, the U.N. report says, referring to bugs as “minilivestock.” Stephen Colbert, in a biting, if only satiric segment on his show last night lambasted them in the way only Stephen Colbert can. One his best lines was about the “minilivestock” bit. “According to the UN, all you New Yorkers with bed bugs are technically ranchers,” he says.
