Saddle Ranch Chop House Opens in Costa Mesa

By Edwin Goei:

As we mentioned here two years ago, Triangle Square, which is now known
as just “The Triangle” is getting its own Saddle Ranch Chop House, whom
you might have seen last in front of Universal Studios. The restaurant,
with its roster of steaks and a mechanical bull, opened this past
weekend.

It's just one of many new restaurants that will open there in an effort
to revitalize a mall that some have called cursed, others just a pain to
park in and get to. Gustavo reported last week that Corazón de Costa
Mesa, a Mexican restaurant by a Rick Bayless acolyte, also debuted. Olive Branch Pizza and the Black Knight Gastro Lounge, both of which are by the owners of the former Little Knight, has also opened.

Still in development: H20 Sushi & Izakaya, which replaces Sushi Zen Bistro.
