Off-Duty Cop, Impatient At Slow-Moving McDonald's Drive-Thru, Pulls Gun On Teenager
The line was moving slowly at a McDonald's drive-thru in Georgia when a 18-year-old Ryan Mash was confronted by a man who had told him not to hold-up the line. According to the official police report, the man then pulled out his gun, pointed it at the Mash's head, and shouted "you don't know who you are f------ with." He took off in his car soon after, but not before Mash and his friend took down his license plate.
The man with the weapon turned out to be, Scott Biumi. an off-duty cop and a 20-year veteran detective sergeant with the DeKalb County Police Department.
Biumi was arrested later. "It appears that he had a severe break in judgment," said Forsyth County Sheriff Duane K. Piper of the incident. The altercation was captured by McDonald's security cameras and reported on local news stations.
