Christopher Victorio/OC Weekly
Seventy breweries. One-hundred-seventy-five craft and import beers. Food trucks. Friends. Strangers. More beer.
The OC Brew Ha Ha, one of our favorite beer events of the year, is coming to back to Oak Canyon Park near Irvine Lake on Saturday, Sept. 7. Beer geeks and those who tolerate them can sample featured brews, dance to the tunes of a folk-rock cover band and listen to beer experts including Dr. Bill Sysak of Stone Brewing Co., Ed Heethuis of Ritual Brewing Co. and Jonathan Porter of Smog City Brewing.
Tickets go on sale this Saturday, June 1. General admission, which includes a commemorative glass and 10 four-ounce tastes, is $40 and runs from 1 to 4 p.m. A $55 VIP ticket gets you all that plus four extra tastes, entry at noon and admission to an exclusive beer appreciation seminar with, yes, more beer.
Visit the OC Brew Ha Ha website for more details.
