Stadtgarten, a German sausage and beer concept, has opened in Fullerton at the Fox Theater on Harbor. It features a number of traditional sausages such as bratwurst and bockwurst served on a potato bun, but also a few exotics including alligator and pheasant.

Pho Sapa in Lake Forest has closed and is now replaced by Taste of Kabob, a Persian restaurant specializing in kabobs such as koobideh and chicken thigh.

A new Turkish restaurant specializing in pizza and omelettes has opened in Mission Viejo. Zaman Cafe also serves a traditional Turkish breakfast spread with boiled egg, sujuk, feta, kashkval, kaymak, Nutella, honey, preserves, cucumbers, tomatoes, dried apricots, and mixed olives—all of it served with bread.

As we reported last week, the Hello Kitty Cafe Pop-Up has opened at Irvine Spectrum. The cafe, which is built into a metal shipping container, serves sweets as well artisanal sodas and coffee drinks from Portola Coffee Lab.
