Now Open: A New Handroll Concept for Downtown Santa Ana, More Seafood for Irvine, And MORE!
Leonard Chan's sushi hand roll concept called Kiyomisu has opened at the space vacated by Boldo Bol in Downtown Santa Ana. It features a "Daily Hand Roll" for $4, chicken wings for $6, and ramen for $9. Beer, sake and shochu are also served.

Coastal Kitchen in Dana Point has opened at 34091 Pacific Coast Hwy. The location is notable because it was the first commercial building in Dana Point. According to its website, in the 20's and 30's it was "The Blue Lantern Fountain Lunch, which served as a cafe and service station to Pacific Coast Highway travelers and was the stopping point between Los Angeles and San Diego". Coastal Kitchen's menu items include rotisserie chicken, a cioppino, and a braised short rib cooked for 72 hours, served with roasted brussels and slaw.

Little Saigon's Asian Garden Mall began their annual summer Night Market this weekend, June 17 and will run every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7 p.m.- 11 p.m. until September 4. The food-vendor-heavy festival features "everything from pho, porridge, shell fish to egg noodles, tofu, and ribs" not to mention a lot of swap-meety merchandise and music. And unlike other food festivals, it's free to get in.

Fish District has opened in Irvine at Woodbury Town Center. The seafood chain began in San Diego and the Irvine location marks the second location in Orange County. The first location is in Aliso Viejo at The Commons. Poke is served, but also fish and chips, fish tacos, salmon burgers, and wraps.

A new hookah lounge and cafe called Bublyz has opened in Tustin next to Ansar Gallery. Other than hookahs of every flavor, coffee, desserts and paninis are served.
