Frenchman Axe-Attacks McDonald's Drive-Thru 'Cause of Cold Fries
Axe wielding-ly good?
In other French-tangent food news, a man in the Paris suburbs attacked a McDonald's drive-through earlier this week with an axe over a disagreement with a staff member about the serving temperature of his fries, according to English-language French paper The Local.
Thinking his fries were too cold, the man attacked the drive-through around 2 a.m. after the staff member declined to help him. He got out of his car with an axe, shattered the glass of the window and threw his axe into the restaurant as a coup de grâce. I'd be pretty upset too, if someone interrupted my drunchy meal.
Why he had an axe in his car, I don't know, but I guess you can never predict when you'll run into a zombie, a.k.a. the poor guy working the night shift at a McDonald's
L'homme got back in the car and retreated, but he was eventually arrested bleeding heavily from his forearm by police who had been tipped off by a patron. The employee manning the window received small cuts on his face from glass, but did not go to the hospital.
Quelle tristesse, garçon.
