Dos Chinos to Feed the Homeless This Thanksgiving!

Tomorrow, Anne Marie will have a round-up of all the restaurants that'll be feeding folks on Thanksgiving, both as a dinner special or to help those less fortunate among us. But we wanted to give a special shout-out to Hop Phan of Dos Chinos, who let me know he'll be taking his Asian-Mexican lonchera to the folks who need it most: the homeless.

From 8 in the morning until 10 in the morning, Dos Chinos will be at Lions Park in Costa Mesa. Hop's doing this out of the goodness of his heart, but this political animal is especially happy it's happening there, given the heartless city council wants to stop people from feeding the homeless in Costa Mesa. After that, Dos Chinos will park near the Civic Center in SanTana, off the corner of Ross Street and Civic Center Drive.

Dos Chinos won't be selling food that day, so be a mensch and hit them up the next time you can and spend extra on them. Not only is the food chingón, but it'll help them get money for what I hope will be a Thanksgiving tradition ala La Casa Garcia.
