Ching-Chong-Ling-Long Gourmet Takeout Opens in LA

Alexandra Wallace may have been shamed out of UCLA, but today she lives on in Mongolian beef and kung pao chicken.
The infamous collegiate, whose YouTube rant “Asians in the Library” had the Internet shaking its head at the state of higher education, is the inspiration behind a new Chinese food delivery service in Westwood, Ching-Chong-Ling-Long Gourmet Takeout. “Ching Chong Ling Long,” of course, comes from the bit in Wallace's video where she blasts Asians who talk too loudly on their cell phones in the school library, mimicking their conversations with the cringe-tastic line, “Ohhhhh, Ching Chong Ling Long Ting Tong, Ohhhhhh!”

According to the company's website, the jokey name has an underlying mission: “We believe that the best way to combat intolerance is through a positive cultural experience mixed in with a healthy serving of humor, and hope that after you try us, you too will feel that way.”
While that's great and all–really?? Couldn't we have let the senseless tirade die four months ago? We can hear the stupid drunk prank calls now. Ohhhhhh.
