Texas de Brazil is a Brazilian steakhouse better known as a churrascaria, where grilled meats on giant sticks are brought and carved tableside. It started as a family-owned joint in Addison, Texas in 1998 and has now grown to over three dozen restaurants throughout the U.S. and abroad, including South Korea and UAE. Now it's coming to Irvine, its first foray into California.
The Irvine restaurant will be located at the corner of West and Jamboree Road at the Irvine Marketplace, in the former location of On The Border.

As one does at Agora, Irvine's other churrascaria, a meal at Texas de Brazil will be all-you-can-eat, whereupon servers will continuously swarm your table to carve you cuts of seasoned beef, lamb, pork, chicken, and Brazilian sausage as long as you have your place card set to green.
Texas de Brazil will also have a bar, a wine cellar, and a 50-60 item seasonal salad area that includes appetizers, gourmet vegetables, soups, and salads.
