There was a time where there were at least two Beard Papa's locations in Orange County. And then, suddenly, there were none. For a while, the only convenient place I knew to get a Beard Papa's cream puff was in Arcadia (usually as dessert after a Din Tai Fung pilgrimage).

But now, Beard Papa's are making a comeback in OC.
A few months ago I discovered that Mochilato in Irvine served Beard Papa's puffs. Then one opened up in Fullerton (1993 W Malvern Ave, Ste A) and now there's another one in Garden Grove at 13908 Brookhurst St, in the same plaza as Boiling Crab.
If you have no idea what I'm talking about, or are still unfamiliar with these divinely crackly puffs that's piped with cooling, rich, and eggy cream, get one now before they go away again.
