It may be pricey, but if you're both an oenophile and are bummed out that there's no Taste of Newport this year, the 10th Annual Newport Beach Wine Festival starts tonight and runs through Sunday at the Balboa Bay Resort.

The cost is issued per event, and there are seven events in all, with different chefs, food and wine. The culmination is “The Grand Tasting” tomorrow night for $125 per person…which should be nothing to a one-percenter or a serious wine-lover.
