Hangovers are chaotic. For one, your head feels like it's been strangled. Your stomach is turned inside out. You're still in last night's clothes, which are imprinted by signs of too much fun (vomit). Waking up, you realize there are people you have to apologize to and things you regret. But, alas, it's time to recover--and because we don't want you to do too much thinking while in headache-mode, we created this list of hangover cures for you.

10. Hangover Burger at Plum's Cafe (Costa Mesa)

Hangover burger, meet reader. Reader, meet hangover burger. When Plum's isn't serving their alderwood-smoked salmon hash (and other pretty dishes), they're curing the intoxicated--specifically with this breakfast-plate-in-a-burger invention. With sirloin meat, fried egg, and pepper bacon, this burger is the perfect remedy for passionate carnivores.

9. Benedict Omelette from Egg Cracker (Fullerton)

Omelets heal the inebriated. I mean, just look at that picture. Now, read Anne Marie's description of it:

Our trio ordered a sharable selection of hits, yet it was an omelette that stole the show. This wasn't your run-of-the-mill, English muffin entree. Stuffed with both Canadian and Applewood bacon, it was off to a carnivorous start. Monterey Jack joined the party, followed by a drizzle of hollandaise and chives. We didn't miss the poached part, as our eggs blended together all the flavors like a well-crafted burrito.

8. Irish Nachos at Bruxie (Multiple Locations)

Starchy carbs are every man/woman's hangover friend, so you'll need to surround yourself with a squad of potatoes (which--trust me--will look sexier than Taylor Swift's model friends when you're hammered). One of the best ways to maximize your potato intake is via the waffle fry. A great option is Irish Nachos at Bruxie: waffle fries with cheese, sour cream, bacon, and chives.

Alright folks, delete MyFitnessPal from your phone right now. If you're serious about recovering, then you'll need to go straight for a burrito from Nate's. Massive and greasy are what the food here is--just look at their burritos! (If you're wondering: they have chorizo, sausage and bacon, steak, and many more.)

6. El Tradicional at Roxanne's Lounge (Long Beach)

El Tradicional is an art piece. Rice with black beans are rolled into a short cylinder and placed at the center of the plate. On top of that is a sunnyside egg and two strips of bacon that make an X. And finally ,two fried bananas line the edges of the plate, creating symmetry fit for any Wes Anderson flick.

5. Mexican Breakfast at El Camino Cafe (Tustin)

Mexican breakfast is abundant with carbs and proteins mixed together, which makes dishes like chilaquiles and huevos rancheros work for hangovers. The chilaquiles at El Camino Cafe is particularly outstanding, as homemade chips hold a bed of queso fresco, egg, rice, beans, and cilantro--adding crunch to every bite.

4. Hakata Ramen at Shin Sen Gumi (Fountain Valley)

There are several noteworthy ramen shops in Orange County, but the Shin Sen Gumi's hakata ramen works for hangovers because it's simple. At its core is a thick, white broth made from Berkshire pork and filtered water that simmers for fifteen hours. When a bowl is served, the broth is poured over a bed of thin, firm noodles and topped with chasu, chopped scallions, ginger, and sesame seeds.

3. The Green Flash at Barefoot Bowls (Irvine)

Because impurities are added to alcoholic beverages when they're distilled, you'll want to balance it with something healthy. Take The Green Flash at Barefoot Bowls, for example. It's made with banana, strawberries, kale, spinach, and orange juice--the opposite of most things on this list.

2. Any Pho Place (Multiple Locations)

Go to any reputable pho joint--like Pho 79 and 45--and you can expect to feel at least 60 percent better after lunch. Pho's distinct fragrance alone will comfort you, just before the broth does upon first sip. Then, get a couple slurps in while drinking iced water and your hydration levels will go up.

1. Haejangguk at Jang Mo Gip (Garden Grove)

Whenever something is named after what it literally does, there's a good reason for it. Take the Korean soup haejangguk for example, which translates to "soup to chase a hangover." Made with pork bones, miso-like doenjang, garlic, ginger, mushrooms, and radish, you'll demolish any pains caused by soju, soju, and more soju. New to haejangguk? Take note: it arrives unsalted, so you'll want to spoon salt into it. 9816 Garden Grove Blvd, Garden Grove, (714) 534-1340; jangmogip.synthasite.com
