Why is Lou Correa a Better Republican than Lucille Kring?
Why Republican Lucille Kring is even bothering to campaign for the state senate from central Orange County is beyond me.
Didn't Kring get the message that many OC Republican establishment players back Democrat Lou Correa?
Her hearing probably suffers from some abnormality due to sitting in close proximity to Curt Pringle, her old, shifty-eyed Anaheim city council colleague, who--get this!--is a conservative Republican that loves big wasteful government projects.
(The current lame governor appointed Pringle, a well-oiled lobbyist by trade, to chair a government entity designed to spend billions of dollars on an unnecessary rail project while the state is bankrupt.)
Anyhow, back to Kring and Rev. Lou Sheldon's bitch, Correa. [For that story, go HERE.]
The all-conservative suits and wine lunch gals at the Orange County Business Council have given voters a treat today with their independent expenditure mailer on behalf of . . . yep . . . not the Republican, Kring, but Correa.
They wrote that they have an "important message," so listen up.
"Senator Correa has worked closely with businesses to create and protect jobs right here at home," the ad claims. "He understands the connection between a strong business environment, sustainable infrastructure and job creation . . . [This next part is underlined.] No one has worked harder than Lou Correa for our community."
After all that, they then go on to accuse him of being "an independent voice in Sacramento."

The ad has no picture of Correa, but offers us the delightful smile [similar to the face a cat anxious for a meal would wear] of Lucy Dunn, president of the lobbying outfit.
But Correa's not just the man in business lobbying circles, he's also big with the California Optometric Association. That group put a piece in local mail boxes today too. The over-sized postcard encourages voters, er, residents to attend a free, September 25 community health expo with the senator.
"Senator Lou Correa working [sic] with his community for better healthcare," the message declares.
But the group didn't expressly call for the senator's re-election--wink, wink.
