In 2006, Robert Drenk and Bill Collins, (an arm wrestler and arm wrestling referee, respectively) started the Ultimate Armwrestling League to allow arm wrestlers to compete on a more professional level. What they began would eventually evolve into a world-renowned arm wrestling competition that draws hundreds of arm wrestlers of all ages (and sizes) to compete for a grand prize of $100,000.
The latest UAL competition took place at Ten Nightclub in Newport Beach, and we sent our Junior Asian Correspondent Charles Lam to investigate. We came across avid and dedicated arm wrestlers from around the world and asked them about their interests in competing, and even had Charles put his own arm muscles to the test.
