See the update at the end of this post on an arrest in this case.
ORIGINAL POST, DEC. 6, 8:03 A.M.: You may know actor Loren Dean from such movies as Mumford, Space Cowboys or Enemy of the State, or from his regular role on TV's Bones, or all the way back to one of his first big screen turns, as the bad boyfriend in Say Anything.
Born Loren Dean Jovicic, he is not the man who passed himself off as the 43-year-old actor at a San Clemente drug rehab center Tuesday.
That person, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Department, was Loren Dean Breckenridge III, a 46-year-old suspected con artist accused of defrauding rehabilitation centers across the country.
He's struck so often claiming to be Loren Dean the actor that the rehab in the 800 block of East Avenida Pico was on to him, calling deputies after he tried to check in. He was detained near a supermarket Tuesday morning but released when deputies could pin no crime on him. He was last seen riding a bus toward Long Beach.

Then came the rest of the rap sheet: Breckenridge is wanted on a $75,000 grand-theft warrant out of Marin County, according to the sheriff's department.
So he lives to perform another day.
