The Orange County Sheriff's Department conducts a
DUI/driver's license checkpoint in San Clemente from 6
tonight until 2 a.m. Saturday.

The department does not indicate where in San Clemente it will be, so . . . SURPRISE!
UPDATE: A DUI checkpoint is also scheduled to begin at 9 p.m. Saturday along Adams Avenue near Brookhurst Street in Huntington Beach.
Like other recent checkpoints throughout Orange County, both operations are funded by grants from the California Office of Traffic
Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
The goal is to reduce deaths and injuries suffered on Orange County roads.
