This Weekend Is Final Chance To Attend Orange County's Vietnamese International Film Festival

If you're interested in seeing a series of films from up and coming moviemaking talent, this weekend is your last chance to attend the sixth biennial Vietnamese International Film Festival (VIFF).

Today's presentations are set for the Bowers Museum in Santa Ana, but Saturday and Sunday's films will show on the UC Irvine campus, where you can watch, for example, Pearls of the Far East (Sat. at 4 p.m.), Viette (Sat., 7:30 p.m.), Stateless and The Tree Workers Case (Sun., 2 p.m.).
Sunday, the closing ceremony day, offers numerous short and feature-length films including War Witch by Kim Nguyen, who is an Academy Award nominated Canadian director.
