Scott Cole, Orange County Sheriff's Deputy, Charged with Sexually Touching a Minor

Moxley is off in the salt mines, so I'll handle this one: Five months after a mother in Tustin called the Orange County Sheriff's Department to report that one of their own had just sexually assaulted her daughter, the Orange County District Attorney's office has finally charged Scott Cole with the crime.

To their credit, Sheriff Sandra Hutchens' crew built a case against Cole and handed it over to the DA, who did their due diligence. If this had happened in the days of Carona?

Cole would've probably received a promotion.

His arraignment is scheduled for Jan. 14.
