Loretta Sanchez Makes PR Blunder List in Sex Escort Case

As Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez's Republican general election opponent, Van Tran repeatedly portrayed the veteran Anaheim Democrat as an odorous floozy.

And sure enough: Fineman PR, a San Francisco-based public relations firm, has included Sanchez in its 16th annual Top 10 PR Blunders List.
The blunder category? Sex trafficking.

The list slams Craigslist found Craig Newmark for his alleged resistance to deleting the “adult services” category that was used by escorts and those involved in online sex trafficking. Newmark received failing PR marks for walking out on an confrontational interview with a CNN reporter.

Sorry, Orange County Republicans: The item actually praises Sanchez and Congressman Ted Poe, a Texas Republican, for increasing public pressure on Newmark to “join, rather than debate, those who are trying to fight this problem.”

Here's who made the PR blunder list:

1. British Petroleum
2. Toyota
3. NPR
4. Craigslist
5. Amazon.com
6. Nestle
7. Johnson N Johnson
8. LeBron James
9. Glenn Beck
10. Alaska Airlines
