Before a woman named Olive was attacked by a complete stranger in her San Clemente residence in May 2011, the young man yelled, “Shut the windows!” and “Keep the demons away!”
Jonathan Ashton Aikin, 19, now gets to battle those demons in a state prison cell for the next three years, after switching his plea from not guilty to guilty to felony sexual battery and first-degree burglary.

He was hopped up on goof balls when he broke into Olive's home on a quiet Sunday morning that found her relaxing in bed with her children.
Aikin burst in, yammered his crazy talk and began kissing Olive, then choked her so hard she had trouble eating afterward.
Olive's kids had to witness the whole thing.
She fought back, and her 5-year-old son jumped on Aikin's back, but that did not stop the attack. A U.S. Marine stationed at Camp Pendleton did. Olive's neighbor rushed downstairs to pull Aikin off her, and sheriff's deputies later arrived with a Taser gun to help subdue him.
In addition to serving prison time, Aikin must register as a sex offender.
