Have You Seen This Beauty? Nader Amirvand's Sweet 1963 Chevrolet Impala Convertible

Is it possible to feel very sorry for Nader Amirvand, who had his red 1963 Chevrolet Impala convertible with a white top stolen from an auto restorer, AND very envious of the thieving bastard who now has it?

It was gone by 9:30 a.m. Saturday from the front of a business in the 7300 block of Garden Grove Boulevard, near Knott Avenue, where it had been left so Amirvand could pick it up. The Impala had just been completely restored, according to the Garden Grove Police Department.

And then, at 9:26 a.m., an unknown person drove off with it, heading west on Garden Grove Boulevard.

Investigators are hoping that because it's such an eye-catching car, someone will report seeing it to police. Amirvand has sweetened the pot with a $5,000 reward. It left the restoration business with this California license plate number: 7DLG260.

A couple more looks:

Anyone who sees the car should call 9-1-1, according to police, “so we can return the vehicle to its rightful owner.” And so I can feel a more healthy envy toward Aniryard than the douche who took his sweet ride.
