Jason Lenkins at the Huffington Post reports today that the West Point graduate–a trained Arabic linguist who was dismissed from duty in the spring of 2009 because of “Don't Ask Don't Tell” and since then he's been a leading voice for the cessation of the policy–was called back by his upper New York State unit as “a sign that momentum behind a repeal of the military's “Don't Ask
Don't Tell” policy is having an impact.”

The Advocate reports that photographer Jeff Sheng, who
recently turned his lens on active gay and lesbian service members,
confirmed the news that Choi has returned to active duty.

Bilerico.com
blogger Jeff Sheng has a photo of Choi back in training and reports the return to active duty
prevented the lieutenant from leading a National Gay and Lesbian Task Force workshop this past weekend.
