Dita Von Teese Offers a Piece of Herself: Photos
You have a day left to bid on a piece of Dita Von Teese, the burlesque superstar who went by Heather Renée Sweet when she knocked around University High School in Irvine. It's not a smooth, milky white body part up for auction on eBay but the stunning beauty's French blue, 1939 Packard 120 sedan.
Von Teese, who stores the Packard in Costa Mesa, had the vintage ride restored 10 years ago and it is said to run "absolutely perfectly." The 40-year-old apparently wants to get rid of it to make room for a new Cadillac. We're assuming new as in "new old" since Von Teese is really into 1940s' style.
The reserve price is not shown on eBay, and the top bid of 58 as of this writing was $24,000. What is shown is Von Teese posing seductively in, on and around the car. Were she one of the included accessories, the bids would be off the charts by now. For instance ...
