8, the Play has turned into The Vagina Monologues of the LGBTQI world, at least in the sense that in the early days of the gal play, every third-rate actor and politician wanted in on the hot production. Thankfully, 8 has attracted a much-better roster of folks willing to read screenwriter Dustin Lance Black's adaptation of the legal battle trying to get gay Californians the right to marry whomever they choose again.
There's going to be a reading this Friday in Long Beach, with more than a few good guys to intone fabulously on a serious subject.
