Social Distortion's TV Debut on Jimmy Kimmel
It's strange to hear that Social Distortion, a band that's been around since 1978, is making its TV DEBUT on December 6. I'm assuming this means network TV and not, like regular TV, since I've seen a bunch of clips of them on European TV shows and cable channels. Otherwise, hello, 21st century to you too!
They're playing their new single "Machine Gun Blues" from their forthcoming seventh studio album Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes on ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" It airs Dec. 6 at 12:05 a.m.
Here's an example of an old TV clip from YouTube.
They're also going on to be performing at KROQ's Almost Acoustic Christmas at the Gibson Amphitheatre and at the 10th anniversary of the House of Blues Anaheim on Jan. 12.
