Save $5 on OC Weekly's Summer Fest with the Aggrolites, June 8 at Newport Dunes
With the Weekly's second annual Summer Fest just a few days away, there are two reasons you should be happy to read this post. Not only are we reminding you about our incredible Newport Dunes day party featuring the Aggrolites this Sunday (June 8), now you're getting the opportunity to save a little cash! In the spirit of summer slacking, we're offering a last minute $5 discount on admission tickets, which range from $15 for GA to $35 for VIP. In case you've been asleep all month, our party celebrating the annual Summer Guide issue promises to be one of the best days you have at the beach all year.
In addition dancing on the sand to the dirty reggae of The Aggrolites, you'll also get to enjoy sounds from a horn-wielding army of local talent, including 9-piece ska/reggae band The Debonaires, bearded brown-eyed soul outfit Allensworth, ska punks the Originalites and alt-country outlaws Ted Z and the Wranglers with DJ Bobby Soul spinning all day long. The party goes from 12-5 p.m. And of course we'll have everything from water and sand games, contests, drink samplings, food trucks and more to keep you occupied when you're not busy skanking it up. A percentage of the proceeds will go to the children's charity, Boys Town California. Also, check out the new-and-improved beer garden, now with extra drink samplings.
The $5 ticket discount ends on June 7, which means you only have three more days to get your butt in gear. Find out how to get the discount after the jump!
To snag the $5 discount, visit our Ticketfly page to purchase tickets and type the word "HEARD" into the promo code box at the bottom. See? How easy was that? Summertime slacking at its finest! We'll see you on the dunes, June 8. For more details, click here.
