Earlier this year, we wrote about Pithy Sweet's sound being a "cohesive trip down a psychedelic road." Singer/guitarist Benjamin Kent, bassist Evan Novorot and drummer/singer Robert Burrison have been playing together since they were in high school, and they now have a pretty sweet residency at Fullerton's Continental Room for the month of April--with a great lineup of guest acts as well.
Here's an exceprt from that interview that's still relevant:
I know what the word "pithy" means. And I know what the word "sweet" means. But I can't seem to figure out what "pithy sweet" means.
