This year's 15-band bill includes Jared Leto's FM alt-rocker group Thirty Seconds to Mars, the angular indie pop of Vampire Weekend, Icelandic darlings Of Monsters and Men and, KROQ faves Jimmy Eat World and plenty more. Both acts are slated to drop albums days before the Weenie Roast with Jimmy Eat World's new effort, Damages, scheduled for June 11. Now in its 21st year, this year's lineup appears to be a bit of a Coachella re-do for anyone who parked at the main stage over the last two weekends. It's also devoid of the kind of punk rock revivals we've seen in previous years (i.e. last year's performances from Pennywise and the Offspring). Then again, maybe the fact that the fest is switching directions this year is a good thing. An exclusive KROQ Street Team onsale will start on May 3 at noon. Tickets are available online only at Ticketmaster. Prices ranges from $68 for lawn seats to to $111.75 for orchestra seating. Check KROQ's website for full details as they become available.
