Today is a great day for Misfits fans! Their new EP, Friday the 13th, is now available. The EP contains four new horror-punk anthems written by Misfits' bassist Jerry Only.

Better yet: the Misfits are reuniting with ex-frontman Glenn Danzig for this year's Riot Fest in Denver and Chicago this fall. And they said it would never happen!

"The reunion will first occur at Denver's Riot Fest and Rodeo, set for September 2nd and 4th," Rolling Stone reported. "Their second appearance will be Riot Fest and Carnival, which will take place in Chicago between September 16th and 18th. The fest's full lineup will be revealed next week."

"The Original Misfits" (Danzig, Only, and guitarist Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein), last performed together on October 29th, 1983.

We're still waiting for Danzig Sings Elvis to drop!

Here's how Danzig views his career in the music industry. Quotation above via noisey.vice.com.
