All you have to do is tell us in the comments which band plays your favorite Halloween music. And if you're not convinced, we've put together a getting-to-know-you primer for the bands performing.

Thursday, Nov. 21:
Johnny Vatos Tribute to Halloween will featuring former members of Oingo Boingo Plus special guest Glen N the Sunshine Gang. Johnny Vatos is Oingo Boingo's former drummer, and 10 years after the band called it quits at a Halloween show, he came up with the “Johnny Vatos Tribute to Halloween” concert concept which launched at the Grove in 2005. Fellow Oingo Boingo band members John Avila (bass), Steve Bartek (lead guitar), Sam “Sluggo” Phipps (sax) and Doug Legacy (Keyboards) joined Vatos; this year they're returning to the Grove again.

K'naan
Somali-Canadian poet, rapper, singer, songwriter, and instrumentalist K'naan performs with Paper Tongues at the House of Blues–it should make for an interesting show from the man who draws inspiration from Somalian music and conscious hip-hop at the same time.

Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros

Also performing at the Grove of Anaheim, Edward Sharpe promises a grand time–especially if you're chosen to perform at their open mic as an opening act!
